The Faces project arose from observing and sharing with people from different continents, countries, races and cultures.
Ethnic and geographic differences, added to the above mentioned, distinguish human beings, giving each group and specifically each individual a particular value.

I am attracted to the costumbrist characteristics in which the different characters that I capture are inserted.
The faces express experiences, they reflect an existential moment of the human being, which I capture to take to my canvases.
Self-portraits are also part of this project.

Under this concept I get the inspiration and connection to paint.
I work with different shades to create atmospheres and with more gestural brushstrokes to emphasize the lived moment of a person I have chosen.
