From Valparaíso to Neruda
Working on the “Because of Valparaíso”, which I developed from my tour of that city, I discovered the house of Pablo Neruda, Chilean poet and Nobel Prize for Literature.
Pablo Neruda called that house on Bellavista hill “La Sebastiana”.
Entering there was like entering another world. It breathes the magic that the poet gave it. His voice, creativity and humor emerge from every corner.
It was from that encounter that I read his poems, interviews, articles and biography.
I was in the house of La Chascona and the house in Isla Negra, where, as in La Sebastiana, his spirit is still present.
His spaces, life and work inspired me to carry out this, my second project, “From Valparaíso to Neruda”.
