Biography
I studied Textile Design, a career in which I learned Javanese Art, being Batik a part of its expression.
I worked with the Batik technique making mural tapestries. The color is applied and reserved, with a limit in the use of shades.
Looking for ways to expand my possibilities to work with color and drawing, I entered the Catholic University of Chile to study Visual Arts. Then I enriched my learning in workshops of different painting masters.
In the early years the academic training was very rigorous, which provided me with a fundamental base that has allowed me to develop different modes of expression, techniques and styles. In addition to this rigor in my work, I studied Art History and Theory at the University of Chile, which allowed me to know, understand and integrate into my work the artistic movements that have been developed over the course of different periods.
Each project I have been working on throughout my career corresponds to a unique and different theme. I have worked developing six relevant projects;
"El porqué de Valparaíso""De Valparaíso a Neruda""La Huella del Tiempo""Del Salitre a Iquique""Mas allá y más acá de la Frontera""Rostros"
